The weekend will feature discussions on Marxist philosophy, revolutionary strategy, the Mexican Revolution, and a socialist analysis of the midterms.
The Northeast Regional Marxist School is an annual two-day event hosted by the International Marxist Tendency in the US. Revolutionaries from cities across the Atlantic northeast—stretching from Baltimore to Toronto—will come together on November 10 and 11 to discuss Marxist theory and history, to aid us in the struggle for socialism in our lifetimes!
Renowned Marxist author and theoretician, Alan Woods, will present the newest release from MarxistBooks.com—The Revolutionary Philosophy of Marxism—which will be available for sale at the event at a special price. We will also be discussing the results of the 2018 midterm elections and perspectives for socialists in 2020; the inspiring but little-known Mexican Revolution of 1910 to 1920; and explain more about what the IMT is and why you should join!
You can register to attend the event here.
In addition, all the sessions will be streamed live on the Socialist Revolution Facebook page. If you can’t attend in person, make sure to tune in online and share with your friends! The full schedule is as follows:
